"Diagnosed with a life-altering disease, a middle-aged woman moves to a remote cottage and falls in love with a creature from the lake."
Calvin Thomas & Yonah Lewis, the talented team behind Amy George, one of the more inspiring feature debuts at TIFF last year, are raising funds on Kickstarter for a new micro-budget feature that's shooting this March. They have already proven that they can make quality work with limited means in a tight time frame, so I wouldn't be at all surprised to see this new feature, Condition of the Heart, at TIFF this fall. Great project to support, even if you can spare just a few dollars! Ask your money how it feels about going to live with them. And the premise sounds fascinating and original: "Diagnosed with a life-altering disease, a middle-aged woman moves to a remote cottage and falls in love with a creature from the lake."
